The GLPMTS committee is excited to announce Deputy Joseph Trottier as our 2019 guest speaker. First hired with the Carson City Sheriff’s Office (Nevada) in 2007, Deputy Trottier has worked in the detention, patrol, SWAT and most recently the traffic division. Deputy Trottier, brings over 21 years of on and off-road motorcycle experience, instructing, presenting, competing and winning several police and civilian motorcycle competitions. Deputy Trottier is a certified police motorcycle instructor and has been instructing motor school for the past 6 years.

 

As part of the Great Lakes Police Motorcycle Training Seminar’s ongoing training and development, Deputy Trottier will be presenting to police motor officer participants on abstract/unusual motorcycle training techniques. This lecture will give participants new perspectives and skills on advancing their motorcycle riding abilities in a policing environment.
